POSITION OVERVIEW: This is an exciting opportunity to enhance your analytical skills. The goal of the Order Analyst is to support the sales force by processing revenue orders with accuracy to ensure timely receipt of funds.  This person examines legal information and analyzes data to maintain balanced profitability.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Validate order entry via Excel reporting
  • Analyze overall order profitability and follow adjustment guidelines accordingly
  • Invoice all revenue generating sales orders via ERP software
  • Audit legal contracts and documents
  • Generate sales compensation claims
  • Manage Microsoft Outlook order queue
  • Communicate with external leasing vendors as well as internal partners
  • Aptitude in problem solving and achieving resolution
  • Identify and facilitate process improvement
  • Analytical thinking and decision making skills
  • Prioritize and remain organized
  • Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B.S) or equivalent from a four-year college or business school preferred. Three (3) or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret sales reports, service analysis, sales detail, credit approvals, and appraisal forms. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Order processing systems; Accounting software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office.

 

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Business and accounting knowledge would be beneficial.
